Tool-TERMINALS Ideal for retrofitting to existing and new machines

WASSERMANN TECHNOLOGIE offers space-optimized tool storage systems – your chance to adapt existing machine tools to new requirements!
Whether old or new, WASSERMANN’s TERMINAL tool storage systems provide existing and new systems with sufficient additional tool spaces, depending on requirements, to meet increased demand for cutting tools and enable the move to unmanned production. These storage systems can even be connected via a gantry loader as a central background magazine for several machines.

How do the tool store and machine tool work together? Develop productivity from order
The tools are changed from the tool storage unit directly into the existing tool magazine of the machine tool. A flexible tool handling device transfers the tools from the WASSERMANN additional storage unit to the horizontal, vertical or inclined tool holder in the tool magazine close to the machine.
This means that all standard machine types such as traveling column, 4 and 5-axis milling and turning/milling machines can be extended.
A cell control system with a separate control panel can be integrated for supportive and intelligent tool management – alternatively, the infeed magazine can also be controlled via the machine control system.
With integrated WASSERMANN software, predictive tool management prevents unwanted downtime due to missing or worn tools. In addition, all planning and evaluation modules for end-to-end digitalized, efficient production are possible.

Is your machine tool already automated?
Expand your machining center with tool automation now!
- Mehrmaschinenbedienung erfordert optimale ergonomische Bedigungen
- Sonderwerkzeuge müssen sich auch im automatischen Betrieb einwechseln lassen
- Werkzeugkosten werden durch softwarebasierte Nuzung von Reststandzeiten gesenkt
