For medium-volume production runs, it makes sense to expand the pallet storage system with a loading robot and an additional drawer system. The robot retrieves the components from the loaded drawers and places them directly into the clamping fixtures at the loading station. The workpieces are secured in place by a hydraulic clamping device or an automatic screw-tightening unit.
